CEMBRE’s Code of Ethics is based on its commitment to apply and observe, in the course of its business, strict ethical and moral principles dictated not only by legal and economic reasons, but also and above all by a specific social and moral commitment that the CEMBRE Group undertakes.
The CEMBRE Group Code of Ethics is the official document setting out the values and ethical principles that reflect the Group and the standards of conduct that guide the actions of all of us, the employees of the CEMBRE Group, in order to make them clear, unambiguous and understandable.
The Code of Ethics also serves as a guideline for the Group and for all our stakeholders, so that the decisions taken and the actions carried out are consistent with the culture of responsibility, legality, transparency and long-term value creation.
By adopting this code, CEMBRE wishes to express its commitment to preventing and combating any situation that may fall within the scope of harassment and violence in the workplace, in order to ensure full respect for people and the maximum protection of individual dignity.
This commitment is achieved through concrete actions to prevent and combat all forms of harassment and violence in the workplace. These include, but are not limited to: continuous training and awareness- for personnel, availability of safe and accessible channels for whistleblowing, and control by all relevant bodies.
CEMBRE’s primary objective is to ensure a working environment based on inclusion, dignity and respect for the physical and psychological integrity of individuals.
Since 2021 CEMBRE has adopted a Group Anti-Corruption Policy which aims to provide guidelines against corruption. Furthermore, since 2023 Cembre S.p.A.’s Management System for the Prevention of Corruption has been certified pursuant to the ISO 37001 standard.
CEMBRE has been awarded the Legality Rating with the maximum score of three stars, a recognition granted by the AGCM – Italian Competition and Market Authority.
This result certifies our concrete commitment to legality, transparency and integrity, values that guide the way we do business on a daily basis and confirm our reliability towards customers, partners, institutions and communities.
Achieving the highest rating requires the adoption of advanced governance models, structured ethical policies, prevention and control tools and responsible management of business processes, fully integrated into the organisation’s activities.
This recognition reinforces CEMBRE’s sustainability journey, founded on an integrated approach to environmental, social and governance (ESG) dimensions, and on concrete, measurable and verifiable actions aimed at creating long-term value.
CEMBRE has adopted dedicated channels through which – for companies falling within the scope of the Directive (EU) 2019/1937 and the corresponding national transpositions – “whistleblowing” reports concerning offences, violations of national or EU laws and/or regulations may be sent, enjoying the protections provided by the legislation.
