The SD-36D is a battery-powered wooden sleeper drilling machine and has been developed to further optimize the power-to-weight ratio. This machine is distinguished by its low acoustic noise, minimal vibration level, and most importantly, the absence of harmful gas emissions. As such, it is ideal for work in enclosed areas such as tunnels, underground facilities, and during night operations.

The machine features a reversible rotation that aids in the extraction of the drill bit if it becomes lodged during drilling. It also includes an electronic control that prevents overloads, optimizes consumption, and extends battery life.

It is designed with an integrated motor unit with an IP44 protection rating. The machine’s ergonomics inherit the appreciated features of the TW-18B, known for its comfort and ease of use.

The 36 V - 8.0Ah battery is compatible with the rail drilling machine LD-16B-RP, the screwdriver TW-18B, the impact wrench NR-25B, and the pump B70M-P36R, maximizing compatibility and resulting in significant savings.

Thanks to its high performance, it is also suitable for heavy-duty applications like drilling tropical woods.
