A group of "colour code" products has been developed to help choose the right connector for the cross-section of the conductor; this is mainly made up of cable terminals or connections in which the information relating to the nominal cross-section, the code that identifies the compression die and the references of these compressions are printed directly onto the product with a specific colour; the colour name is also printed in order to avoid problems for those who are colour-blind.
