PRINTING SYSTEMS REMOTE ASSISTANCE FACILITY - CONDITIONS OF USE This facility requires your computer to have Internet connection and allows you to permit Cembre to remotely access and manipulate your computer for the purposes of software maintenance, faultfinding and user support only. In order to clarify responsibility and safeguard confidentiality, legality and integrity, Cembre will provide this remote assistance facility only in accordance with these conditions of use. Access to this free of charge facility requires you first to provide us with contact details, via our website or by phone, fax or email. Cembre will hold these details for the purposes of identifying you prior to subsequent access requests and enabling us to contact you with regard to issues raised however you may, at any time, request these details are not held and thereby agree to provide them on each occasion. Cembre will provide you with a TeamViewer software application which you install and run on the remote computer. You may save the application on your computer for subsequent use when, on each occasion, you should repeat the following procedure to request/activate a remote connection. Running this application signifies acceptance, by the owner/authorised user of the remote computer, of these conditions of use, on this and, where contact details are held by us, on all subsequent occasions. Run the application to obtain a randomly generated PIN then phone a Cembre support technician and give the PIN, thereby authorising them to activate a connection to your computer and commence a remote assistance session. Our access to your computer is terminated by closing the connection at the end of each session. The owner/authorised user of the remote computer will be present during the entire session, otherwise a connection will not be activated or an active session will be terminated. The owner of the remote computer must ensure their user, the person involved in the remote assistance session, has the capability and authority to use or enable/permit use of equipment/software/applications/data as required to facilitate an effective session. Cembre may require to access/manipulate software/applications/data on the remote computer and while we will maintain confidentiality at all times, the management of the risk of unintentional access to sensitive information is entirely the responsibility of the owner/authorised user. Software/applications/data will not be transferred using this remote assistance facility. Such transfers will be made by email/CD/portable memory and their installation on the remote computer is entirely the responsibility of the owner/authorised user. Cembre will treat as confidential all files transferred from a remote computer, however their content is entirely the responsibility of the owner/authorised user. Software/applications/data provided by Cembre by email/CD/portable memory will be checked for viruses however the remote user is recommended to apply their own virus checking procedure during installation. Software/applications/data associated with non-Cembre printing systems will not be accessed using this remote assistance facility. Remote connection to your computer will be activated only from within the Cembre LAN, by designated Cembre personnel, on a Cembre-owned computer system with fully up-to-date virus checking software, unless otherwise authorised by Cembre I.T Manager.
